Nguyen Van Hieu, Full Professor
Research interests: Hybrid materials made of carbon nanotubes and semiconductor metal oxides for gas sensing applications. Low dimensional nanostructures (nanoparticle and nanowires) of metal oxides for gas sensing applications. Synthesis, characterizations, and applications of GRAPHENE. Nanofibres via electrospinning for nanosensors, nanocatalysis, filtration, and protective clothing.
Nguyen Tang Son, PhD
Research interests: Gas sensors based on novel materials: preparation of novel materials with focus on microporous materials and active supported nanoparticles for sensing applications. Material charaterisation: establishing structure-function relationships in sensing materials using primarily X-ray based spectroscopic and scattering methods, development of novel imaging techniques for the study of material under real sensing conditions. Material for energy applications: synthesis of catalytic materials for the production of green chemicals and fuels from renewable feedstock.
Le Manh Tu, PhD
Research interests: Application of deep eutectic solvents for gas sensor fabrications. Kinetics and Mechanism of nucleation and diffusion-controlled growth of metals from deep eutectic solvents. Electrodeposition of metals from deep eutectic solvents: sysnthesis and characterization of nanostructures.
Le Viet Thong, PhD
Research interests: Advanced nanomaterials for energy storage (supercapacitors and Li-ion batteries): composite materials of nanocarbon (graphene, CNTs) and metal oxides, Silicon-carbon porous foam. Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) for gas sensing applications. Flexible and stretchable electronic devices based on nanocarbon materials and elastomers.
Nguyen Ngoc Viet, PhD
Ngoc-Viet Nguyen received the BS and MSc degrees from the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He has received the PhD degree of Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from the National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan. From November 2019, Mr. Viet has become a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Phenikaa University. His research interests are in micro/nano sensors, MEMS technology, biomedical engineering, computer numerical simulation, and mechatronics.
Ttan Khoa Dang, MS
Research interests: Gas sensing properties of internal and external nano junctions of semiconductor metal oxides nanofibers and 2D materials. Fabrication of 2D materials by ultrasonic vibration and nanofibres via electrospinning for gas sensors. Application of deep eutectic solvents for gas sensor fabrications.
