  • Research interests: Gas sensors based on novel materials: preparation of novel materials with focus on microporous materials and active supported nanoparticles for sensing applications. Material charaterisation: establishing structure-function relationships in sensing materials using primarily X-ray based spectroscopic and scattering methods, development of novel imaging techniques for the study of material under real sensing conditions. Material for energy applications: synthesis of catalytic materials for the production of green chemicals and fuels from renewable feedstock.

  • Ngoc-Viet Nguyen received the BS and MSc degrees from the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He has received the PhD degree of Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from the National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan. From November 2019, Mr. Viet has become a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Phenikaa University. His research interests are in micro/nano sensors, MEMS technology, biomedical engineering, computer numerical simulation, and mechatronics.
